Sorry about the delay in responding to your question. I have been out of town and just received your message. I'm glad you found the book to be helpful and hope it encouraged you to price your self aggressively. Too many handymen work too cheaply.
This may be too late to be of help but I would charge this type of job by the hour. I charge hourly any time I'm not sure how long the job will take. Sounds like this would require at least two trips to complete.
