Roof for Redwood Storage Tank

Hello Kira,

Thank you for your question! You asked for an opinion on the cost of a job. Here was your question: "I have an old redwood water
tank which needs a new roof. This is a 6,000 gallon tank."

I did a job similar to the one you are describing. It was a 14' diameter
tank, 10' deep. Today, the materials would cost about $1,500 and the labor about $700 ($50 per hour for 14 hours.) I used tongue and groove cedar for the roofing.

Hope this is of some help,

Thanks for asking,
